Historical examination of creativity

Historical examination of creativity

The Egyptian pyramids are remarkable ancient buildings that that if people now try to build like them even by using modern vehicles, they may fail.

Pyramids were built in Ancient Egypt as burial places and intended for Egyptian pharaohs. They believed that the pyramids give you the power of immortality. Egyptians believed in an afterlife, therefore it was quite crucial for them to protect the corpses of their pharaohs. To keep the body of the pharaoh safe, the insides of the pyramids were like labyrinth with secret doors and dead-end passages. The pharaoh would be close to the bottom or even underground. Other rooms contained things like jewellery and furniture that the Pharaoh may want in the life after death.

There are multiple ideas about the way that Egyptians built the pyramids. The most approved one is that those people cut huge limestone blocks using copper chisels and saws. Gangs of men pulled them to the pyramid site and pushed the first layer of stones into place. Then, they made long ramps of brick to drag up the next layer of stones. They continued this process till they built it to the top. Eventually, they covered up the pyramid with an outer coating of white casing stones. They laid them close together that it looked like the pyramid was cut out of a single white stone.

We mightn’t know precisely how the Egyptians built the pyramids. But, these pyramids signify that ancient people were intelligent and had great technical skills. All those workers were being used as slaves so they were forced to work. Perhaps sometimes you get more creative and intelligent when you are under pressure. I’m totally against this method though.
